Mark Ulano (1954) is an American sound engineer.
Ulano has won an Academy Award for Best Sound (Titanic) and
has been nominated for another in the same category (Inglorious Basterds). He
has worked on over 120 films since 1975.
Ulano collaborated with Quentin Tarantino for more than 25
years and has been teaching and has been an international speaker and panellist
for the art of storytelling through motion picture sound at numerous academies
and universities around the world.
Needless to say, Mr Ulano is usually seen with a beret on
his head.
