Roadworkers with Beret

These berets, made by Industrias Tello in Zaragoza, were used by the workers of the Ministry of Public Works, road-workers. During the years of the dictatorship, Republican prisoners were often used as forced labourers on the roads, re-building the infrastructure destroyed by the Civil War.
