Martin Fourcade (1988) is a French biathlete and
Sous-lieutenant in the Chasseurs Alpin.
He is a five-time Olympic champion, an eleven-time World
Champion and a six-time winner of the Overall World Cup. Fourcade and Ole Einar
Bjørndalen of Norway are the only male biathletes to have won the overall World
Cup six times, with Fourcade the only one to do so six times in a row.
As of
February 2018, he is the most successful French Olympian of all-time.
