Triciclos Abad
was founded by Norberto Abad Prieto and located in Madrid, a company dedicated
to the manufacturing of vehicles that provide mobility for people with physical
disabilities.
These
vehicles were much in demand in Spain since the 1940s, with so many disabled
people after the Spanish Civil War.
The adapted
tricycles were equipped with Villiers, Guzzi and Vespa engines. Abad was in operation until the
1960s.
