Hi Jason, That looks like a 10p beret that has been well worn for a long time. You can tell it was a quality beret, as it shows in the creases and folds that it is made of a densely felted wool. Impossible to say what label it would be, but I’d say something like an Auloronesa or Super Lujo would come close. Does that help?
Thank you for your reply- I took delivery of a barely worn Super Lujo today, and I'm very pleased! I'm a farmer in the UK, and find a beret to be far superior in comfort to a traditional flat-cap, and a nice nod to the period my wife and I lived in the French Alps. Thanks once again- great blog too!
