Valery Pavlovich Lamakh was a Ukrainian painter who worked
in the field of monumental - decorative art and posters.
From 1939 to 1949, he studied at the Voroshilovgrad art
school with a break of three years, because from 1942 to 1945 he was in forced
labor in Germany.
An artist, a philosopher, a writer, a teacher, a forerunner
of "modern art" - Valery Pavlovich combined different, at first
glance, opposite talents. In Soviet times, Valery Lamakh became a
"guru" for a whole generation of Soviet artists, there were legends
about this person in the artistic community.
