I have posted on Jacques Bréjoux a few years ago, but photogenic as he is, he well deserves a second posting with new pictures.
Jacques Bréjoux manufactures 40 sheets of paper per day, weighing twenty grams per square meter. In comparison, the French industry produces two hundred tons of cigarette paper daily.
Le Moulin du Verger is one of these independent companies which open their doors to visitors, not being a museum, nor an eco-museum, nor a workshop-museum.
It does not receive or request any subsidy.
The Moulin du Verger de Puymoyen is the last authentic witness of four and a half centuries of papermaking tradition in Charente.
