Best Actor Award - 1st International Deaf Film Festival, Tolosa
In 2004, Jacob received the award 'Best International Deaf Male Actor' at the 2004 Milan Festival Internazionale di Cinema E Video Sordo, for his lead role in the film 'Nectar', written and directed by Liz Crow.
Jacob has appeared in many TV programmes including his first, in the 1995 BBC production of 'Pride and Prejudice' and since then Jacob has worked in television and theatrical productions.
Jacob studied drama and deaf studies at the University of Reading and completed his BA (Hons) degree in 2009.

ReplyDeleteJust stumbled into here from a Google search on Jacob Casselden, whose name had caught my eye in the credits from "Pride and Prejudice" (I was thinking how lovely these children played their scenes as the little Gardiners...)
