Barbara NovákováI is a student of Preservation and
Presentation of the Moving Image MA program at University of Amsterdam.
She worked at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in 2019 and has collaborated with several festivals in Slovakia, her native country. Currently, she is the head programmer of the film section at a multimedia festival Starry Nights (Hviezdne noci) in Bytca, Slovakia.
