The Pope and his White Beret

This photo montage of the Pope kissing Egyptian imam Ahmed el-Tayeb was part of fashion label Benetton's latest Un-Hate campaign. No surprise the Vatican's wrath came over them and the picture was withdrawn - the good marketing work for Benetton already done. 
Personally, I can't see any wrong with the picture, showing the love the church preaches. By adopting a humourless, intolerant stance towards the kissing scene the Vatican actually did the publicity pushers a great service.

Meanwhile, the Pope is known for wearing a true white beret as well. Great picture, the umbrella matching the beret's txortena so well.
