Felix Beristain Amallobieta

Felix Beristain Amallobieta (1937) is a Basque painter. He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando and was a friend of Valentin Zubiaurre. He had his first exhibition in 1954 and many followed in Bilbao, Pau, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Tarbe, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Eibar and Madrid.
Beristain works are scattered all over the world in various museums and private collections. His latest works are murals and tributes to the female sailor.

  1. I'm no art critic and I don't know the proper terminology to use but I'd say that the faces look like photos and the backgrounds are surrealistic. I like his work.
