Mark Laurent

Mark Laurent has been a professional musician since the late ‘70s. After working in bands and duos, together with his wife/musical partner Brenda Liddiard (aka Millennium Hippies), he felt a strong urge to return to his first love – solo.

Playing guitar and sometimes harmonica, ukulele and rowan lute (a little instrument specially built for me) and vocals, Mark writes his own material, but has a fair list of covers too.
Mark's also a writer - having published 3 collections of poetry & a children’s storybook.

    Hi guys, what a lovely thing for you to do - thanks heaps for this. That old beret of mine has been all around the planet - I can't even remember now how many years (or decades) ago I bought it. I recently lost it briefly in Devonport, but some kind soul found it & left it in a nearby cafe so I got it back again, no worse for wear & hopefully not feeling neglected. :-) All the best. Mark
