Smugglers of Friendship

A few steps from the Portes du Soleil pass, the border between France and Switzerland, two children in black and white designate the relief of the teeth of the Midi Mountains (Haute-Savoie). The 2,500-square-meter work was created by street artist Saype, a painter of giant outdoors frescoes, and 100% biodegradable.
On the outskirts of Lake Geneva, the project entitled "Smugglers of Friendship" is about Franco-Swiss friendship. Built at an altitude of 1,970 meters, the ephemeral work will be visible until September 8th. Because the artist uses fully biodegradable paint. Its secret: linseed oil, water and flour mixed with natural pigments allow it to obtain a paint that forms, when it dries, a kind of glue resistant to rain.
