I have posted on the beautiful mini-documentary 'Gente con Boina' before. The 1971 documentary, made by Televisión Española, captured the idiosyncrasy of the people of Tomelloso (La Mancha).
In addition, its script was written by the great Tomellosero Francisco García Pavón, father of the Spanish crime novel.
'Boina' is an animated micro-documentary based on the film “Gente de boina” by José Luis García Sánchez. It shows several groups of beret wearing men, smoking and chatting quietly in the main square of Tomelloso, some day in 1971.
