Fernando Urbina Rangel is a specialist in prehistory and
American history, anthropology, ethnography, art history, and linguistics.
He is a professor, a student of Greek and oriental mythology and Amerindian mythologies. He carried out 40 field works in areas of the Amazon, Orinoquia, Chocó, Guajira, Nariño and Serranía del Perijá.
He is the author of 95 articles, seven books, 23 individual photographic exhibitions, two educational television series, two radio series, around 50 poetry recitals, and has participated in several films and videos.
