How (Not) To Wear A Beret
One of the questions I'm asked most often is: how should I wear a beret?
My answer is almost always the same: any way you like!
And I genuinely mean that. If you feel comfortable wearing your beret the way you do, then that's the right way to wear it.
Despite what countless websites claim, there are no universal rules; a beret is a wonderfully personal piece of headwear.
Only if you're aiming for a particular look—Che Guevara, Picasso, a French chasseur alpin, or a US Green Beret—does it make sense to study photographs and copy the style.
Personally, I'd rather wear mine my own way.

Mickey Mouse Berets
From the 1930s through to the 1960s, Mickey Mouse was a frequent visitor to the world of berets.
His face appeared embroidered, printed or appliquéd on children's berets, while some manufacturers also tucked Mickey away inside the beret, using him on colourful labels .
Mickey himself was often illustrated wearing a jaunty Basque beret, reinforcing the association.
Today, many of these charming pieces resurface on eBay, offering a glimpse into an era when Disney's most famous character was as much a part of everyday children's fashion as he was of comics and cinema.
They remain highly collectable examples of vintage beret history.

Anne Ramsey-Mobley
Anne Ramsey (1929 –1988) was an iconic American character
actress best known for her unforgettable, commanding performances as the fierce
crime family matriarch Mama Fratelli in The Goonies (1985), where she shot
to mainstream fame in her mid-50s as the terrifying, gun-toting leader of the
Fratelli gang, and later as the overbearing Mrs. Lift in Throw Momma from
the Train (1987).
Her performance in Throw Momma from the Train earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Her trademark gruff voice and intense screen presence made her Hollywood's definitive "queen of playing mean", contrasting sharply with her early life as a high-society debutante.
