Citizen Smith is a British television sitcom.
Citizen Smith
starred Robert Lindsay as "Wolfie" Smith, a young Marxist "urban guerrilla" living in Tooting, South London, who is attempting
to emulate his hero Che Guevara.
'Wolfie' is a reference to the Irish
revolutionary Wolfe Tone who used the pseudonym Citizen Smith in order to evade
capture by the English. Wolfie is the self-proclaimed leader of the
revolutionary Tooting Popular Front (the TPF, merely a small bunch of his
friends), the goals of which are "Power to the People" and
"Freedom for Tooting".
In reality, he is an unemployed dreamer and
petty criminal whose plans fall through because of laziness and
disorganisation.
Che Guevara, you were a Wonderful man, and a hero to an entire generation who wanted to make things right! Unfortunately, for you that is, The Demonic Entity based Americans had to kill you by doing what they usually do (and still do today like they are trying NOW to do in Ukraine) which is subvert sovereign countries and implant a puppet leader of their choosing and put said country under the IMF and in-debt them as well!
ReplyDeleteBoth You and Fidel were against this, he still alive and you long gone thanks to Bolivian-CIA dichotomy. Shame really that so many foreign countries bend over to U.S.A.; except you of course. Peace brother and keep wearing that beret wherever you may have landed...
It may be wise to look a little further into Che's career before making such comments...
DeleteWith all the brilliant ideas he had, he was also the one behind Cuban death camps and had no problem assassinating people who happened to differ in opinion from him.
And bringing in the comparison with Ukraine is a puzzling one; I would think that the present 'revolutionary' government of Ukraine stands a lot closer to Che's legacy than the ultra-corrupt, wealth collecting, Russian backed government it replaced.
