A moustached vandal wearing a white overcoat and blue beret
is being sought by Australian police after causing $7500 of graffiti damage to
a train.
Investigators have released clear images of two men they
wish to speak to following the act of vandalism which occurred late last year.
The train had been stopped temporarily for an hour from
about 4pm between Mordialloc and Aspendale stations on September 11 last year
when two men hopped a fence next to the train line.
CCTV images of two men wanted for vandalising a train
between between Mordialloc and Aspendale railway stations.
They then used spray paint to graffiti the train, causing
"extensive damage", before fleeing on foot.
A police spokeswoman said the estimated cost of the damage
was $7500.
Investigators from the transit safety division have
described one of the suspected offenders as Caucasian in appearance, aged
between 25 and 30, with a medium-build, short wavy black hair, a moustache, a
pale complexion and best of all, wearing a blue beret!
