Shanghai Tofu

Shanghai Tofu is a beret with a French flair and Chinese embroidery. It pays homage to Shanghai's beautiful French concession district.

Backstory of Chinese Embroidery: In China, it is commonplace to buy soy sauce from a local store. A man on Chinese television was interviewed about a pop singer's sex scandal. His dismissive answer: "What does this have to do with me? I'm only here to buy soy sauce". The phrase "get soy sauce" went viral and became a sarcastic slang for "mind your own business / I don't care".
