Lafuma

In 1930, the three brothers Alfred, Victor and Gabriel Lafuma created the eponymous backpack brand in their small workshop in Anneyron in the Drôme.

With the invention of the metal frame, they revolutionize the backpack. With the introduction of the first paid holidays, this backpack becomes a major player in the first leisure activities.

In the collective unconscious, Lafuma is the factory of memories: it's the Grandfather's bag, the school bag, the equipment for the first family camping outings... Lafuma tells transgenerational stories and recalls good times shared.

Since 1930, the Lafuma logo has undergone various changes, at more or less regular intervals.

This evolution is, to the delight of collectors, well documented on the brand's website. The logo with the boinero skier was in use from 1930-1949.
