Rimantas Marčėnas (1937 - 2019) was a Lithuanian historian, writer, pedagogue and doctor of humanitarian sciences.
Since 1967 Marčėnas published short stories and reviews about new books by Lithuanian prose writers in cultural magazines and newspapers. In 1992 he became a Member of the Union of Lithuanian Writers.

He was buried in the Writers' hill of the Petrašiūnai cemetery in Kaunas.
