Berets in Wood
I first saw these wooden plates and boxes with a sculptered beret wearing man in Pau, the capital of the French Bearn.
Feeling sorry (and dumb) for not buying one as soon as I left Pau behind me, I started looking for these on the internet and found there is a whole range of wooden boxes with beret decorations.
